We’re pleased to share a small but meaningful milestone for Crafty Horse.
Crafty Horse has been named Best Emerging Equestrian Jewellery & Lifestyle Brand 2026 – Australia in the LUXlife Pet Products & Services Awards.
For those unfamiliar with LUXlife, it is a UK-based lifestyle publication founded in 2015 and published by AI Global Media Ltd. The publication covers a broad range of lifestyle topics and brands, with a global readership spanning fashion, travel, design and luxury products.
As a small Australian equestrian jewellery brand steadily building a growing collection of quality sterling silver jewellery, it’s lovely to receive recognition as Crafty Horse continues to evolve.
The Evolution of Crafty Horse
Crafty Horse began with a carefully selected collection of jewellery and gifts for horse lovers. Over time, the direction of the brand has evolved, with an increasing focus on developing our own original equestrian jewellery designs.
Today, we are building a growing collection of quality sterling silver equestrian jewellery inspired by the details, traditions and experiences familiar to those who share their lives with horses.
Our collection includes jewellery inspired by horseshoe nails, stirrups and other elements of equestrian life, with new Crafty Horse designs continuing to move through the development process behind the scenes.
Each original design begins with an idea before progressing through sketches, CAD development, prototypes and often several small refinements before reaching the final collection.
Growing Our Collection of Sterling Silver Equestrian Jewellery
Being recognised by LUXlife comes at an exciting time for Crafty Horse.
Behind the scenes, we are continuing to develop new original designs and gradually build a more distinctive collection of equestrian jewellery.
As a small, independently owned Australian business, this growth has been gradual and intentional. New designs are introduced thoughtfully, often in small batches, while we continue to learn what resonates most with the horsewomen who discover and support Crafty Horse.
Our focus for the future is to continue developing quality sterling silver equestrian jewellery with a recognisable Crafty Horse design perspective, while gradually introducing the brand to more horsewomen beyond Australia.
An Australian Equestrian Jewellery Brand with a Personal Connection to the UK
Although Crafty Horse is based in South Australia, the UK has always been a significant part of my own story.
I was born in the UK and, with much of my family still living there, it is somewhere I continue to return to and enjoy visiting.
With its strong equestrian culture, the UK also feels like a natural market for Crafty Horse as we begin looking beyond Australia and growing our international presence.
Receiving recognition from a UK-based publication therefore feels like a fitting small milestone as we work towards making our growing collection of equestrian jewellery more accessible to horsewomen in the UK.
